Another excellent source of information on skiing Europe are European airlines. Air France, Swissair, Lufthansa, KLM, and Finnair usually offer special ski packages every winter. Ski packages to Europe and South America are offered by a number of commercial tour operators. Unless you know the tour operator, however, it’s wise to check on its reputation before signing up. And, naturally, many travel agencies offer European ski packages. The agencies generally have a better reputation for providing precisely what they advertise than do some of the commercial tours.
