Class over. Now we were free to practice what we’d learned. Falling leaf glide. Getting up. Easy linked turns. Falling. Getting up. More turns.

For novice snowboarders who achieve this elemental level of linked turns, doing it with speed and elan will come far more quickly if they take a few more lessons. After that, the half-pipe!
