When the ski season and I finally got together on the slopes that winter, I found myself unexpectedly skiing with the same sense of balance that I’d studied in T’ai Chi classes. Down-flowing, ever-shifting balance. From the naval. Flowing easily with the snow. Not soaring. Not flying. But becoming one with motion itself.

Unbelievable. I was amazed at myself on the slopes.

Now I truly began skiing. The mountains and slopes, the moguls and the dips. Ah, it had taken so long.
